It is crucial that homes are staffed with the most knowledgeable and expert professionals, allowing them to care for those who need it most.
Through close working relations with one of the very best training schools in the United Kingdom, Bluerock are able to provide expert training to candidates. We ensure that our personalised training course is completed successfully before any member of staff can commence work in the healthcare sector.
In addition to the basic training; we go above and beyond by offering a selection of specialist units in addition. These include blood pressure, moving & handling and pressure area awareness. We aim to provide staff with the skills and knowledge to excel when meeting the care standards of the client.
At Bluerock, we recognise the importance of wellbeing. We help our employees relax after a hard day of training by holding special events, such as bowling nights, restaurant dinners and ice skating. As our staff would happily testify, we have always been keen to support our workers in the best possible way.
The Care Certificate
Skills for Care, Health Education England, and Skills for Health have jointly developed the Care Certificate. This incorporates and supersedes the Common Induction Standards and National Minimum Training Standards, but also goes further. As well as developing the areas covered by the aforementioned standards, it also introduces many new training standards to staff. This provides a good foundation to develop knowledge and skills in health and social care.
As of April 2015, all healthcare professionals are required to meet the Care Certificate standards. With this in mind, training modules at Bluerock include all 15 standards. This ensures healthcare staff are ready to work and excel in their role.
